Acclaimed South Korean webtoon and webnovel series Solo Leveling unveils a first look at its long-awaited anime adaptation. The first trailer for the Solo Leveling anime adaptation has been revealed.
Crunchyroll confirmed that the popular web novel and webtoon series will finally be getting an animated adaptation. The new series is being produced by A-1 Productions, the animation studio behind Fairy Tail. , Sword Art Online and The Seven Deadly Sins. The music for the new series will be composed by the legendary Hiroyuki Sawano, who previously created the scores for Attack on Titan and Mobile Suit Gundam: Unicorn. Crunchyroll is co-producing the series, which is scheduled to premiere sometime in 2023.
In a statement, Solo Leveling original writer Chugong expressed some disbelief at the news that his work has been adapted into an anime. “About six years ago, when I was writing the beginning of Solo Leveling, I could have bet if someone had told me, ‘The novel you wrote is going to be made into a comic,’ I would have told them to stop to fool me. But now what? tell me it will be lively?
